Our History
Established in 2010, the Faculty of Education at the University of Bamenda has been at the forefront of teacher education and educational research in Cameroon. As one of the foundational faculties of the University of Bamenda, FED has grown to become a leading institution in the region.
Over the years, we have expanded our academic programs, strengthened our research capacity, and built strong partnerships with educational institutions, ministries, and international organizations. Our commitment to excellence has produced thousands of qualified educators who are making a difference in schools and communities across Cameroon and beyond.
Today, the Faculty of Education continues to evolve, embracing new technologies and pedagogical approaches to meet the challenges of 21st-century education while maintaining our core values of equity, excellence, and innovation.
